In the administrative context, Michael has represented the mining and insurance industries in rulemaking proceedings, regulatory challenges, adjudications, and appeals before the Department of Labor and other agencies and Federal Circuit Courts of Appeals.

Michael’s diverse civil practice has found him defending corporations and individuals in the food, pharmaceutical, publishing, energy, and financial services sectors against allegations of fraud, unfair competition, unlawful discharge, and defamation, among others.
